Firstly Banagher United AFC hopes that this post finds all our members ,supporters and their loved ones safe and healthy.
We welcome back all our underage players who will resume training this week or in the coming weeks. We are conscientious of the fact that this season will be like no other season that we have experienced and are hopeful that we can see it out to a safe and successful conclusion.
For this to happen we all have to trust one another and adhere ridigly to the current HSE, GOVERNMENT and FAI guidelines.Protocols will be in place and enforced by our COVID officers during matches and training sessions for the health and safety of all who attend matches or training sessions. We will also need to trust all parents and guardians of our members to honestly make a decision on the health of each player on the day of training or a match and decide if they should attend.
We would advise any parent whose child is exhibiting any possible symptoms of COVID 19 which are well sign posted to protect their team mates , friends and the wider club family and err on the side of caution and not attend training or matches. We know that at the moment one parent can attend matches or training sessions with an underage player and we would also advise that if they are doing so that they wear a face covering while they are in our club grounds.
Also if any player or their family have been on recent holiday to a country which is not on the green list published by the HSE we hope they will complete their 14 day quarantine before they return to training. Registrations will take place shortly for all teams and further information will be sent out to all. Managers will contact their teams with details of training. Training times will be strictly adhered to, so drop and collect players on time. Finally thank you for your understanding and co-operation for the upcoming season and may everyone stay safe, healthy and have a good season.
